4 sessions to develop existing repertoire and research new ideas at the Rose Lipman Building.
Laura has developed a “tool box” of creative tasks that encourages participants to explore movement in a safe space and generate authentic movement within the vocabulary of the company. This includes guided improvisation, company repertoire and creative tasks based on art work, images, vocal scores, poems & testimonials. Laura is also interested in using pedestrian gestures as a starting point to create authentic & retable material.
The content creating during this process will be explored in more depth and collaged together to create a collaborative performance with the participants. Each artist will be given time and space to develop material from set creative tasks and guided improvisations as well as learning company repertoire. Themes will be navigated sensitively in the duration of the R&D.
